Social And Spiritual Benefits Of Hajj

The Hajj is the expression of the realism that in Islam all roads lead in the House of Allah, where population, race, and the dissimilarity of policy are all blown away. The hajjis approach from everywhere, from every country, every continent and every backdrop.

They approach flying, sailing and by ground. But whoever they are, wherever they arrive from and though they approach, they are drawn by only one thing and to only one end – their desire to worship Allah at His House and do the rites of the Hajj.

Abu Hurayra said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, 'Whoever goes on hajj for the sake of Allah alone and does not have sexual intercourse or commit any outrage will return as he was on the day his mother bore him.'" (Bukhari)

Hajj Guide – How to Perform Hajj Steps

Tawaf of Kaaba

Tawaf means circling around something. Here it means moving around Kaaba seven times. Preparation: Pass the upper sheet of Ihram from underneath the right arm and put it on the left shoulder. This act bares the right shoulder and is known as Iztaba. Ablutions (vudu) is essential for tawaf. Reciting of Talbiyah is stopped when you reach Hajar-e- Aswad, the starting point of tawaf. Niyyah (Intention): Stand in front of Kaabah facing Hajar-e-Aswad (the Black Stone) in such a way that the whole Hajre-e-Aswad is on your right side. To achieve this end, you may get help from the black stripe on the floor. This stripe should be on your right side. Then without raising your hands make Niyyah (intention) for Tawaf Umrah: " O Allah, I perform Tawaf of Masjide Haram to please You. Make it easy for me and accept it from me."

Manasik Umrah

The Umrah starts with wearing Ihram and making the Niyyah for Umrah at the time of crossing the prescribed Miqat point. The Ihram for gents are simple two-piece unstitched garment. During the Manasik Umrah, a person can change Ihram many times, but it is mandatory for them to remain in it till the time the Umrah is completed. The Ihram for women is the full dress that they wear daily. But a particular dress must be separated and classified as her Ihram. Anas bin Maalik (RA) said, “The pilgrims and those who perform Umrah are the delegations of Allah. He will give them whatever they ask for, answer their supplications and He will give them better than what they spend. Every Dirham will be multiplied by a thousand.” (Baihaqi) More Info:  https://blog.dawntravels.com/manasik-umrah/
